Agility is extremely important in sports. Professional athletes therefore develops agility training in every day routine. In this article, we look at five sportsmen who enriches their training on agility exercises, which makes it capable winning quantity tackles.
1. CRISTIANO RONALDO, SOCCER

There aren’t many sports where someone will have to make so many small yet quick movements with their feet as participants do in tennis. Roger Federer, at or near the top of the tennis world for many many years, will perfect his footwork using agility ladder. Through agility training on the ladders he will be able to swiftly move about the tennis court, in order to get into the best positions for shots and ultimately put himself in the best positions possible to win points. If it wasn’t for agility ladder Federer may not be able to adjust his feet as effortlessly as he does and this could lead to more misplaced shots and so performing to a lower standard.
4. LEBRON JAMES, BASKETBALL
Basketball requires swift movements and changes of direction in order to beat opponents and reach the best positions to shoot baskets. LeBron uses agility ladder in order to train himself to be able to perform these movements in game. LeBron having quicker feet than an opponent makes winning the game much easier, as it is essential to get into the most desirable places to shoot from as quickly as possible. A lack of agility training could lead to opportunities to open up a defending team going amiss and so potentially valuable points lost. Thankfully LeBron is hot on his agility training and so is a huge character within the Cleveland Cavaliers.
5. TOM BRADY, AMERICAN FOOTBALL
American football star quarter back Tom Brady requires exquisite footwork and agility to perform to his best. He must have good footwork in order to position himself well for various plays and it’s not uncommon that from time to time, he’ll ﬁnd himself having to avoid tackles and so Brady needs top quality agility. Tom will train for these situations using equipment such as agility ladder, performing varying drills in training to ensure that he’s as sharp as possible on the ﬁeld.
